 Mental Health and Wellness Resources on Campus

KU Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) - Located in Watkins Memorial Health Center, the mission of Counseling and Psychological Services is to aid in the emotional and psychological development of students in the university environment for the purpose of enhancing performance; assist in the evaluation of student academic progress for the purpose of improving student and faculty functioning and; contribute to the professional education of graduate students in mental health and counseling professions.

In addition to one on one counseling services, CAPS also provides group therapy including a relationship group, a graduate women's group, dissertation distress/thesis torment group, mindfulness, and others.

CAPS also has a self-help resource library that includes suggestions to other resources on campus to assist students with a number of topics including culture shock and study skills.
